Vacancy HSE Manager

This vacancy presents a profile for a full-time, hybrid role for a corporate HSE manager. We want to professionalise and strengthen our Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) staff with an offshore HSE manager. The role will cover corporate HSE topics, but also involves taking a leading HSE role in project execution. The HSE manager reports to the Board of Directors.

Job Description

Corporate HSE Manager
  • Ownership and ultimate responsibility for management systems related to HSE
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant standards from national law, clients and our own internal standards
  • Leading the way for continuous improvement of HSE throughout the organization

Project HSE Management
  • Prepare / manage / maintain project HSE plans
  • Liaise and provide first HSE point of contact with clients/internally
  • Incident investigation
  • Project HSE reporting (monthly and annually)
  • Challenge project leads on compliance with project HSE plans
  • Support project leads by facilitating risk assessments, review RAMS
  • Support the team on HSE related matters within scope of fieldwork
  • Manage subcontractor HSE matters (support with audits, KPIs)
  • Promote HSE values and compliance

Profile Requirements

  • Education in HSE-related topics, at vocational level or above (HVK)
  • Working experience – intermediate/senior level in HSE
  • Affinity with- and/ or demonstrable working experience in Offshore Contracting or related businesses.
  • Affinity and knowledge of ISO management systems is appreciated
  • Demonstrable interest or affinity with ecological research and monitoring
